Areas of Interest: Ultrasound screening and diagnosis. First trimester screening, genetic screening and application of cell-free fetal DNA technology for the prenatal assessment of possible genetic disorders. Invasive genetic testing including amniocentesis. Preterm birth and cerclage placement and monitoring. Multi-fetal (twins, triplets, etc) pregnancies and abnormal fetal growth. Placental disorders such as placenta previa and accreta. Maternal diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, thrombophilias and autoimmune conditions.
Dr. Mularz and her husband moved to The Woodlands from Los Angeles, where she completed her fellowship at UCLA. Prior to that, she did residency training at the University Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. She is an expert in ultrasound screening, genetic screening and diagnosis, monitoring high risk pregnancies and assisting in the care of women admitted and delivering with medical complications of pregnancy or fetal abnormalities.
